Just a laid back week last week. We were lucky to have my aunt, uncle and cousin from Atlanta down in S. Florida for the weekend. They took Sydney and I out to breakfast before they headed out of town and before we went to the UM vs Clemson game (which we won). It was their first time meeting Sydney so it was alot of fun.

I received a new video camera for my birthday so Sydney and I decided to try it out today. Here's the video of the newest thing she thinks is funny during lunchtime. Sorry the kitchen timer is going off in the background. ; )

This weekend we're headed up to Raleigh to visit our friends Luke and Emily and their two girls Gigi and Caroline. We're also going to the Duke game. Hopefully we can come back w/ a win over the Blue Devils. GO CANES!!!

trip to the ZOO!!!

Another set of grandparents came to visit, my Dad and Cheryl, and during their visit we took Sydney to the Miami Metro Zoo. It was her first trip to the zoo. It was alot of fun to see her reactions to the animals. The only ones that she really didn't like were the Chimps.

Grandparents visit

My mom and John came to visit. Sydney had lots of fun. We went out to dinner on Friday to celebrate Mom's birthday.

Then John had the idea to have her push her cart down the long hallway in our apartment building. We made it all the way to the end and back. Hopefully that will keep her asleep all night!! ; )

We also went to the UM vs GT game on Saturday. It was an exciting game that UM ended up winning...a great way to start their conference play. Of course we watched lots of football over the weekend w/ Mom and John rooting for the Chargers. We had a great time during their whole visit!!!

Visit from Sarah

Last week we were lucky to get a visit from Sarah, Mike's cousin. She's on her way to get her masters in Florence, Italy and she stopped off for a 3 day layover in Miami. You can check out her blog at: http://www.ladolcevitasarahinitaly.blogspot.com/. Sydney had so much fun with her!!! Sarah went to the game w/ us on Saturday. Then on Sunday Sarah, Sydney and I all went to South Beach for brunch at a restaurant on Ocean Dr. It was great people watching as always.
