Sydney went to temple for the first time this weekend. We went to the Kol Nidre service for Yom Kippur. She did GREAT! We thought for sure we'd have to leave early, but we were able to stay for the entire service. She loved the music of the cantor and looking at everyone. Of course, everyone thought she was adorable. ; )
Over the next few weeks we're going to have lots of visitors before our lives get crazy with practice starting. This weekend we were lucky enough to have Mark come to visit. Sydney was so excited to see him!
She knows it's not Daddy, but he sure looks like him!!
She's getting so good at sitting up. She just sits up and plays by herself like a big girl!!!
Uncles are fun because they make funny faces!!
She can't wait for Mark to come back for more fun times!!!

We had a pretty laid back weekend. Lots of football to be watched. Unfortunately Sydney's UM outfit didn't help the Canes beat OU.
Mike and Sydney then had to read all about it the next morning.
Sydney has also started to realize that Shaq exists. She has started to grab for him, and this morning she just looked at him and smiled. Shaq is such a great dog. He just wants to lick her.
She's getting better at eating, and we've moved from oatmeal to Sweet Potatoes. She is now officially a Sweet Potato Queen!
So this is my first attempt at a blog to keep everyone up to date on Sydney's doings. Yesterday after two sleepless nights we decided to try the first meal. You'll see from the pictures below that she wasn't a HUGE fan. Hopefully we'll get to the point soon where she actually likes it.
